A Passion For Coaching
My name is Kealy Spring. I have many years under my belt as a coach and communication specialist. I began my journey with a B.A. in Communication from the University of Southern California in 2002. Wanting to expand my communication expertise, I went to the University of Colorado, Boulder and received a M.A. in Communication in 2005. I worked at that time as both a Research Assistant, co-authoring a paper on Hand Washing Behavior Among College Students, as well as a Teaching Assistant for both Family and Intercultural Communication classes. I graduated after the successful defense of my master's degree thesis on topic avoidance.

With this educational framework, I moved to Brisbane, Australia to consult for an aerospace company around communication challenges they were experiencing. In this role I worked with their offices located in Australia, Singapore and Beijing, to help both the executives and individual contributors communicate more effectively across various channels and cultures.
When my consulting job was complete, I moved to the Bay Area where I worked in Corporate America with executives around communicating more effectively with employees. Wanting to expand my knowledge and expertise, I received an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University in 2012. After becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, I opened Kealy Spring Psychotherapy with offices in the financial district of San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, I started working for a local startup called BetterUp as a Leadership Coach and most recently opened up Spring Ahead Coaching. My hope is to continue to use my background and knowledge to help others navigate their careers more effectively.
